Neil Harbisson
carrying on looking at cyborgs I have found Neil Harrison.
he was born with achrimatopsia or extreme colour-blindness, which meant he could only see in black and white.
amazingly is is able to see in colours even beyond the human scope.
Harbisson uses a specialized eletronic eye, and cyborg eye it renders perceived colors as sounds on the musical scale which means using this Eyeborg he is able to hear colour,
hes come so adapted to this device the his brain has even formed new neural pathways to give him a advanced kind of perception.
he is now capable of experiencing colors beyond the scope of normal human perception.
How is this possible? Harbisson is equipped with a specialized electronic eye, or Eyeborg, which renders perceived colors as sounds on the musical scale. In other words, his device allows him to “hear” color. He has become so adapted to this device that his brain has formed new neural pathways that allow him to develop an advanced kind of perception.
he said at the start of using the device he had to memorize the name you give each colour the he had to memorize the notes, but after time he said the information became perception.
he said also he has started to dream in colour, he felt that the software and his brain had united.
"united, to me this word is a key word in this research" connecting technology on to us and even into us the word united comes to play will they become just as important as a natural organ. will people, even healthy people come dependent on these devices.

Kevin Cyborg "I Cyborg"
there is a professor he is the world leader in cybernetics and his name is Kevin warlock from the university of reading.
he fitted machine in his body to be programmed to do different things, this machines will be more intelligent then a human.
humans only understand 3 dimensions and communicate in a very slow, serial fashion called speech, but can technology improve us and we be upgraded.
this really fascinates me, and looking at the possibilities if the technically becomes to exist would I come a cyborg. and how technology is growing so fast will it be the case in the future that it wont be a matter of would but a choice of yes or no?...

HAL Cyberdyne Corporation
this suit is called HAL hybrid assistive limb. it has been designed by Cyberdyne Corporation in japan to help the existiting capabilities of the human body.
its light, weighs 23 kg and has a battery pack at the back and computer system.
how it works is interesting, it uses your body's never system, it is strapped to the body and controlled by thought. when you move, signals are sent from the brain to the muscles, and very weak traces of these signals get detected on the surface of the skin. the sensor on in HAL identifies these signals attached to the skin of the user telling the suit to move in unison with the user.
people with disabilities that effect walking such as stroke-induced or spinal cord injuries cab get training with the HAL suit saddly its cost Y220,000 (£1,370) a month.
Cyberdyne Corporation are adding variety to the suit, training and rehabilitation they are adding muscle to heavy labour jobs and rescue and recovery operations.
HAL can carry out everyday tasks for people who struggle such as standing up from a chair, walking, climbing up and down stairs and lifting heaving objects.
looking at these suit is really a movement of are technology in today's world people who have these injuries and struggles don't really have anything they can use. they end up in a wheel chair, but with this every thing is going to change and soon i wouldn't be surprised the word disabled will be replaced cyborg.
